devotion in the Christian faith. It also signifies other very important matters in Christian faith like the seasons of the Church year. Seven is very holy number according to the Christian faith.
According to the Biblical version of the creation it took seven days for God to create the universe. So 7 beads in the rosary is very important from the Christian point of view. Eastern Orthodox prayer beads is also a prayer jewelry which has 33 beads. Jews also have their own prayer jewelry. Jews wear star of David to show respect to the reverend Jewish king David.
